We are developing a website for our town over in Essex County. I would be interested in learning more about how you developed yours, which is quite nice! If someone at Rainbow Graphics or the website project would contact me at 946-7861, that would be very helpful. Continued good luck with the site!

Glad to see a web site for our town, and appreciate the effort that goes into such an endeavor. However, noticed a lot of typos, spelling errors, and grammatical problems on some of the pages. Would like to see those corrected. Also, since we have such a wonderful new play set-up for children at Kate Mountain Park - the picture of the old swing set shown on several pages does not do the park justice. Pictures are worth thousands of words - put the word out in the town newsletter and you might get some nice stuff to include, and you might get other suggestions, even from those who do not have internet access. You might also consider some sort of environmental page that would cover weather patterns, public lands and such that may appeal to visitors. Good luck!

Nice touch with the web page. I think the Indian museum should be added to the list of attractions. I would be nice to have a little more detailed map for hikers use aswell.

My GGGrandparents Hugh and Lydia (LYON) O'DONNELL lived in Franklin. She died 1882, he 1883. They had 3 children Alvah Hugh, Allen Herbert and Chloe Adelia. They lived in the southwest corner of town and are buried in the Gabriels cemetery. Alvah came to VT in late 1800's. He was my GGrandfather. My family and I visited and stayed in the Buck Pond campground a few years back. We plan on coming back in the spring and in July for Founders Day. I tried ordering some of your journals but it didn't work. I would like to get some. If you have any info on O'Donnells or Lyons or Spears I would be very interested also. Would like to hear back from someone up there. Thanks, Kathy
