COMMUNITY BUILDING ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES PROPOSALS
As stated at the regular October 12, 2016 board meeting, three proposals were received and opened:
- Andrew Chary, PLLC-$136,800
- AES Northeast-$128,932
- Tisdel Associates-$75,000
Every board member had received copies of each proposal on/before October 18, 2016. The board discussed what each proposal included or excluded. Concern was expressed over the distance and mileage reimbursements for Tisdel, as they are located in Canton, NY. Supervisor Willman explained that he had spoken to a representative for Tisdel and it was stated to him that the foreseeable travel charges are included in the bid price. This includes but is not limited to attending monthly board meetings, regular visits to the site, etc. Project oversight and “clerk-of-the-works” is also included.
RESOLUTION #39 AWARDING BID FOR COMMUNITY BUILDING ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES
On a motion by Councilman Smalley, second by Councilman Bartiss, BE IT RESOLVED that the Town of Franklin Town Board does hereby accept and award the bid in the amount of $75,000 to Tisdel Associates, Canton, NY to provide architectural services for the design of a new community building to be located at Kate Mountain Park in Vermontville, NY.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to discuss, Supervisor Willman adjourned the meeting at 6:10pm.
Respectfully submitted, Lauren LeFebvre, Town Clerk
